Saturday and Sunday

Not much happened during this weekend other than lots of sleep to get caught up on. As well as figuring out Chris’s pain meds. He doesn’t seem to need as much as when in the hospital due to healing from his surgeries. He’s getting less of a fuzzy brain and staying awake for longer periods of time. You have to find the comedy when you can in a situation like this and finding this balance has brought it. Several times we could have made some great “Your Brain On Drugs” commercials. We are trying to find our new norm and figuring our new processes. Some have been very challenging, like a shower. Others have brought sweet moments, like his expressed appreciation and love for us.

Until tomorrow.
